Lee Ann's Goats
Welcome to Lee Ann's goats. I am located in northern Brown County, Ohio. I have been raising goats since March of 2000. Currently my herd consists of 40+ Fullblood, Percentage and Boer Cross goats. I got started raising goats when 2 of my sons decided to do them as 4-H and FFA projects. We had a very difficult time finding market goats for them. At that time I was raising pygmy goats. My sons were the only members in our area who had made the decision to show Boer cross market goats. Our 4-H advisors had informed us they were happy to see them showing goats, but they wanted us to be fully aware that they would not be able to help us. I decided to start raising Boers and decided that I would learn as much as possible in order for my sons to to their best. After a few years, and more interest among our local youth, I was asked to become an advisor for our local 4-H club. I enjoy working with the members who are taking goat projects and have had a lot of fun.
I continually strive to improve my herd so that the 4-H and FFA members have excellent quality animals to show. I hope you enjoy this site and come back often as I will be updating it on a regular basis.
